The European Council of Leading Business Schools & Institutes ECLBS

Established in 2013, the European Council for Leading Business Schools (ECLBS) is a registered non-governmental and non-profit educational association within the European Union, bearing the Republic of Latvia Registered Identification Number 40008215839, with its foundation date noted as 11.10.2013. Comprising over 50 national quality assurance bodies and universities across Europe and beyond, along with affiliations to professional and trade associations associated with business education, ECLBS operates under a board of trustees. ECLBS functions as a non-profit educational association within the EU. Additionally, it holds approved membership status and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) International Quality Group (CIQG) in the United States. It is also an approved member of the INQAAHE International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Europe, with its services acknowledged by the ANQAHE Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.

V.I. Vernadsky Taurida National University in Ukraine serves as the hosting institution for ECLBS. The association operates in collaboration with the ALCC Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Riga.

Furthermore, ECLBS has entered into partnership agreements and MoUs with various entities, including the Further and Higher Education Authority MFHEA in Malta (EU), the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation CAEP in the USA, NVAO Netherlands - Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating IAAR in Kazakhstan, Accreditation Agency KAA in Kosovo, and the Authority for Quality Assurance of Higher Education in Mauritania, among others.
